What "beta" honestly means here The whole product works — live answers, sales calls, meeting records, the practice coach. What is still settling is the rough edges you find in the first weeks of any desktop app: a provider that behaves differently on your account, a setting in the wrong place. Whispr runs on Windows 10 or newer, and on Macs with an M-series chip (M1 or later) on macOS 13 or newer. Intel Macs are not supported. Worth knowing before you download: Whispr is not in the Mac App Store or the Microsoft Store and needs no developer account, and the trade for that is that the build is not code-signed yet — so macOS and Windows both warn you the first time you open it. Whispr has no AI bill of its own — it runs on accounts you hold, under your own keys, and we never take a cut of them. So the only question that matters is which providers it actually speaks to. This is the honest list, and anything not on it is not built.
